Board awards multiple professional services contracts for BOND 2025 projects

The board voted 6–0 to award a contract to Lamar Womack & Associates Architects for Parking Lot Improvements at the High School Complex, demolition of aging facilities/structures, and elementary playground improvements. The board also voted 6–0 to award Turner Ramirez Architects for High School Additions and Renovations. For Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing engineering services, the board approved Stridde Callins & Associates to provide MEP services for the Visual & Performing Arts Center, Career & Technical Additions, and High School Renovations in accordance with RFQ#2425-05; the board took no action on the other MEP bids for parking lot renovations, demolition and playground projects.

The minutes show one separate procedural motion to table consideration of a different architectural contract (Studio Red Architects) failed earlier in the evening.
