Fort Bend Independent School District trustees reviewed several large construction and mechanical-electrical-plumbing (MEP) contract proposals during the called meeting. The minutes list a Construction Services Agreement with Dunhill Development and Construction LLC for Dulles High School and Dulles Middle School renovations at a contract lump sum of $15,830,669 (BP028). The board also reviewed a Construction Services Agreement for HVAC MEP West Central 2 renovations and upgrades at multiple campuses with E Contractors USA, LLC for $10,997,500 (BP045), and a Job Order Contractor contract for a chiller replacement at Hightower High School not-to-exceed $650,000 (BP032).
The agenda notes that the Superintendent is authorized to negotiate and execute or terminate the Dulles renovation agreement and to execute or terminate the Hightower chiller replacement contract. The minutes do not record a formal vote on these items at the called meeting; any authorization or contract awards will be addressed in later action items or subsequent meetings.
