Commissioners asked about trees within the building footprint and whether an on‑site eucalyptus would remain; the applicant said two small plum trees would be removed because they fall within the footprint, and that the large eucalyptus has been trimmed for insurance/fire concerns and may or may not remain. After discussion, a motion to approve the site development permit as conditioned was moved and seconded and the commission confirmed the action by roll call. The motion passed with all members voting yes.
