On Jan. 13 the Hale Center ISD School Board voted unanimously to call a general election for two at‑large trustee positions to be held May 3, 2025, and approved the notice and order for early voting and election day. The board also approved resolutions and signed agreements to hold joint elections with the City of Hale Center and Hale County.
Trustee Troy McGann moved to approve calling the general election; Trustee Michael Gonzales moved the notice and order for early voting and election day. Trustee Paul Chandler moved to appoint Christine Reyna, Elections Administrator, to serve as Joint Elections Officer and Joint Early Voting Clerk for Hale County; those motions carried 6–0.
