Campus principals presented initial reviews of their Campus Improvement Plans during the Nov. 18 meeting. Kristen Curry described W.I.N. (What I Need) time and a Friday writing block implemented at her campus for intervention; other principals highlighted social-emotional learning supports, the use of incentives such as Goat Bucks to encourage behavior, and focused efforts to improve attendance.
Evan Ditmore said District Intervention Services has helped boost extracurricular involvement and stressed the need to get more students participating in UIL and athletics; Keith Parker emphasized mental-health supports and ongoing attendance concerns. Trustees accepted the first review as the basis for continued campus planning.
