Butler County Prison Board elects Slupe chairman; Osche and Holland fill leadership roles

The Butler County Prison Board unanimously elected Sheriff Mike Slupe chairman for a two-year term during its Jan. 20, 2026, meeting at the Butler County Commissioner’s Office. The reorganization followed nominations from Rich Goldinger and seconds from Kim Geyer that were accepted without dissent.
Rich Goldinger nominated Slupe; Kim Geyer seconded the nomination and the board voted unanimously. Goldinger also nominated Leslie Osche for vice chairman and Controller Ben Holland for secretary; both were seconded by Geyer and elected to two-year terms. The board closed nominations for the three offices by unanimous motion.
