Board approves revised facilities-fee schedule, adds single-field rental option

Brandy presented the annual facilities use-fee schedule and said the primary change is adding a single-field rental option to replace the prior $750 fee that covered five fields. "We're just doing things a little bit differently, and we're going to be doing $250 for the rental of one field so that you could have your choice of fields," she said.
Michael explained the operational rationale: charging per field allows organizations to reserve only what they need, opens other fields for rental when not used, and can bring additional revenue to the district while increasing equitable access. The recommended schedule was moved, seconded, and approved 5-0.
Trustees praised the district maintenance and facilities staff for their work maintaining fields and for attention to aesthetic details during recent improvements. The approved fee schedule will be posted in district materials and implemented for upcoming rentals.
