Melissa Willard, Friend of the Court secretary and child support enforcement specialist, presented the proposed Master Services Agreement with MGT, which provides claiming and time‑log services for the county FOC. According to the minutes, "The new annual cost of the Agreement with a one- time onboarding fee is $18,060." Willard told the committee that the estimated State and Federal reimbursement of $8,463 would leave Manistee County with an annual net cost of about $9,597; she also noted an additional operating fee of $328.02 and said the agreement represented an overall increase of $780.10 compared with the current contract.
The committee moved, seconded and recommended approval of the MGT Agreement with the Manistee County Friend of the Court. The recommendation means the board will be advised to approve the agreement and to proceed with the one‑time onboarding and annual licensing/service fees as presented.
Why it matters: the agreement covers time‑log processing and Title IV‑D claiming work that supports county FOC reimbursements. Under the terms summarized at the meeting, MGT will also implement an electronic timekeeping platform to replace paper PARs, which MGT says will support audit compliance and streamline EGrAMS submissions.
