Board names superintendent compensation subcommittee, schedules Jan. 6 review

Board staff noted the subcommittee is operating under the county board bylaw (09/05/2000) that defines the comparison group and process: comparing salaries of the largest districts and Class 3 county offices (including two community college presidents) and using the average to set the superintendent Step A. Staff (Colleen) is compiling comparison data and will present calculated averages to the subcommittee in advance.
