Council approves $70,000 opioid-settlement stop‑gap for NOVA 3 housing

Martinez told the Council the money will cover program management, food and lodging for February while rental agreements are reviewed; she also said recovery services are supported separately by Opioid Settlement program funds. Councilor Sierra Yazzie Asamoa‑Tutu moved to approve the budget adjustment; the motion was seconded by Councilor Linda Garcia and passed unanimously. Martinez said staff will return with updates as logistics and contracts are finalized.
