The Board approved, as part of the consent agenda, the procurement for administration of PSAT and SAT assessments with The College Board.
Board Secretary Vanessa Petrea addressed the group in support of the agenda item and encouraged a testing requirement for 9th-grade students, removing the opt-out scenario. Ms. Petrea also noted that the deadline to register for the PSAT assessment had been extended to Friday, September 27, 2024.
The procurement item was pulled for discussion before being folded into the consent agenda. The consent agenda subsequently passed with a 6-0 vote; the minutes do not record a separate roll-call on the procurement itself beyond the consent action.
