When the board voted to grant the requested variances, members attached conditions requiring that the new house and porch gutters "tie into [the] storm system consistent with municipal operations requirements." The condition was recorded as part of the unanimous 5–0 approval; the board also set a 12‑month deadline for completion of the work.
