Commissioners accept bids and postpone awards for landscaping and District 3 truck purchases

Keri Lyles publicly opened and named bidders for Bid HD-2171 (one-year non-encumbered lawn care contract covering the Norman and Moore Health Department locations and The Well). Commissioners also accepted bids for vehicle purchases under Bid COM3-2172 (one 2026 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 HD Crew Cab for District 3) and Bid COM3-2173 (two 2026 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Crew Cabs for District 3). Vendors submitting bids included Archway & Ash Landscaping; Greenshade Trees, LLC; Madco dba City Wide Facility Solutions; OPW Commercial Services; Technical Homing LLC; Confidence Ford of Norman; Donohoo Chevrolet, LLC; Mike Hellack Chevrolet, Inc.; One Nation Distribution, LLC; and Swan Bath, LLC.
In each case the board voted unanimously to "accept the bids and postpone the decision on the bids" and instructed the Purchasing Department to tabulate and qualify bidders and report back to the Board of County Commissioners.
No awards were made at the Oct. 6 meeting; Purchasing will return with a recommendation and qualification report for board action.
