Shoreham board reviews Sea Grant resilience work, DEC permit progress and MS-4 reporting

Board members received updates on several environmental and permitting matters. Officials said the Sea Grant Long Island Sound Resilience Project’s Quality Assurance Project Plan (QAPP) has been submitted for EPA review with approvals expected in March or April 2026. Trustee McManus also reported that a DEC beach replenishment permit is being prepared by Thomas Cramer.
Trustee McManus told the Board that the Village’s MS-4 annual report is scheduled to be completed by consultant LKMA for the April deadline, and reported a recent drain-pipe repair at 5 Wardencliff Rd. that required tree removal and produced no adverse impact. These items were presented as ongoing project updates; no votes were required at the meeting.
