Shoreham board approves electrical repair, tree work and flags plumbing repairs

The Board approved a $1,124.55 quote from Overtime Electric to replace a main meter pan near the platform tennis courts and authorized up to $15,000 for Sunburst to perform late-January tree work around the playground and courts. Trustees recorded both votes as unanimous 4-0 approvals.
Trustee Delagi, reading notes from Trustee Coogan about the platform courts, said a PSEG inspector approved the work and "submitted the request to restore power to the appropriate division of PSEG." Separately, Building Manager Jennifer Alexander asked the Board to solicit plumbing estimates for three items: a slow-draining dishwasher behind the bar that has caused ceiling staining, a leaking lower-level men's urinal and a toilet on the upper level that flushes repetitively; she asked staff to contact South Shore plumbing for estimates.
