District staff reported the Texas Education Agency accountability results for 2025 at the Henderson ISD Board meeting Sept. 9. Dea Henry told trustees that HHS received an overall scaled score of 82 (B), HMS 79 (C), Northside 69 (D), and WES 73 (C); the district's overall scaled score was 76 (C). "Sixty percent of the district's campuses increased in ratings from the prior year," Henry reported.
Board materials and the presentation framed the ratings as part of campus improvement discussions required under TEC 11.253(c) and HISD policy BQ (LEGAL). Trustees received the ratings as an information item; no vote was required. The presentation will inform ongoing campus improvement planning and priority-setting for the 2025–26 school year.
