Board hears resident inquiry on village lots; attorney drafting uninhabitable-homes ordinance for November review

Resident Earl Good was invited to speak and asked if the Village had received any bids for village-owned empty lots. President Bruce Dowdy responded that no bids had been received. The exchange is recorded in the minutes during the general discussion portion of the Oct. 6 meeting.
President Dowdy also reported that Village Attorney Scott Garwood is drafting an ordinance concerning old or uninhabitable homes and that the draft should be presented for Board review at the Nov. 3, 2025 meeting. The minutes do not include draft language or a public-comment period for the forthcoming ordinance.
