The board heard several administrative reports. Chief Financial Officer Hunter Cooley presented the budget and investment reports. Chief Academic Officer David Hogan updated trustees on district-wide attendance and enrollment and presented the current strategic plan update as of Sept. 8, 2025.
Athletic and Transportation Director Dustin Todd briefed the board on current athletics involvement in volleyball, football and cross country, and provided a transportation update. Superintendent Will Brewer reviewed facilities cleaning procedures for WGBT and athletic facilities consistent with UIL recommendations and provided a legislative update including planned GPA calculation changes.
