Trustees voted to approve the 2024–2025 Clay County Appraisal District budget during the Oct. 14 meeting. The motion, made by Brad Yurcho and seconded by Scott Williams, passed with four votes in favor (Yurcho, Chambers, Littlefield and Williams) and two opposed (Klyn and Ellsworth).
The minutes record the roll-call split but do not provide the Clay County Appraisal District budget amount or the rationale offered by the two trustees who opposed it. The board instructed administration to notify the appraisal district following the approval.
