President Bruce Dowdy reported that Village Attorney Scott Garwood was unable to attend the meeting to discuss a Memorandum and a draft Ordinance to Regulate Structures Within the Village of Stonington. Dowdy said Garwood could attend either the January or February meeting and requested trustees submit questions before that meeting so Garwood can prepare answers.
No substantive discussion or vote on the draft ordinance occurred at the Dec. 1 meeting; the item was deferred until the attorney is available to present and answer questions.
