Superintendent Jake Heberling told trustees that building materials for the village shop project have been ordered and that the project is set to begin Thursday; Zoning Officer John LeVault will issue a zoning permit for the work. Heberling also reported that the Sharpsburg water plant is running well.
The board identified its top three candidates for the public-works position and scheduled interviews for Wednesday, Nov. 12, 2025, at 6:00 p.m., 6:30 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. Those interviews will determine who advances to hire for village public-works operations.
