The board approved a Consent Agenda that included approval of minutes, bids, purchases exceeding $25,000, the monthly revenue and expenditure summary, the quarterly investment report, the annual purchasing cooperative management fee report, contract services performed by the school district administrator, and employers' workers' compensation excess insurance. Trustee Randy Campbell moved to approve the consent items; Trustee Jennifer Erickson seconded. The motion carried 6-0.
During the work session, the board reviewed upcoming dates: Citizens Bond Advisory Committee facility tours on May 16, committee meetings on May 19 and June 3, application deadlines for School Health Advisory Council members on May 20, the last day of school May 21, graduation ceremonies May 22–23, a district holiday May 25, and the next regular board meeting on June 11. The agenda also listed a possible executive session under Texas Government Code Sections 551.001–551.146 for permitted matters.
