Alhambra Education Foundation presents service awards to local educators and partners

The Alhambra Educational Foundation (AEF) brought its service-to-education awards to the council meeting, presenting certificates to seven honorees and thanking city staff for partnership. Donna, representing AEF, described the March 21 gala and named honorees that included Craig Realty Group and the Boys & Girls Club of the West San Gabriel Valley & Eastside.
"We had 7 honorees... Craig Realty Group is our business honoree for their partnership with AEF and continued support," Donna said, and she singled out Jose Sanchez as an education honoree and Bob Jin for lifetime achievement. The council accepted certificates for honorees who could not attend and posed for photos with AEF representatives.
Council members thanked the foundation for outreach to schools and students and encouraged continued collaboration between city departments and school partners. The recognition was ceremonial; no funding or regulatory action was proposed or taken at the meeting.
