Hale Center Independent School District held a public hearing Feb. 17, 2025, to discuss its published 2023–24 Texas Academic Performance Report (TAPR). President Pam Johnson opened the hearing at 6:31 p.m.; Kelly Baggett presented the TAPR findings and there were no public speakers.
The board conducted the hearing as posted and in accordance with Education Code Sections 44.004 and 44.041. President Johnson stated that, because no one present wished to address the board, the public hearing concluded at 6:58 p.m. The district provided the TAPR as its annual accountability report; Baggett said he would follow up on questions raised by trustees during the presentation and with additional information at upcoming meetings if needed.
