Planning board reports comprehensive-plan survey closed; staff to finish draft after outreach

The board discussed a land-use dry run scheduled for next week and outreach already placed at the transfer station gate, Burtonsville Volunteer Fire Department and a local store to publicize upcoming events. The minutes state that once outreach and information-gathering are complete, the consultant Amy will finish a draft of the Comprehensive Plan, which will then undergo SEQR (environmental review), county review, a public hearing, and local adoption.
