Solon planning board moves to add new definitions to zoning law

The Town of Solon Planning/ZBA Board on Sept. 9, 2024 reviewed proposed edits to the town's Zoning Law and took a formal step toward adding new definitions to the code. Member Dixie Latimer moved "to include new definitions in to The Zoning Law," and member Lesa Williams seconded the motion; the minutes do not record a vote.
Board members noted that Attorney Armstrong and the Cortland County Planning Board have reviewed the Zoning Law draft and recommended only minor changes, and the board recorded that the final version will be forwarded to the Town Board for further consideration. The record does not show any amendment language or a recorded vote on the motion during this session.
Chris Moore, identified in the minutes as Planning/ZBA Board Secretary, filed the meeting minutes. The board convened at 7:18 p.m. and adjourned at 8:20 p.m. The next regular meeting was scheduled for Oct. 14, 2024, at 7:00 p.m., where further review and any formal votes could be recorded.
