At its Oct. 7 meeting the Sodus Point Planning Board took the following formal actions: it approved minutes from Sept. 16, 2024 (with edits requested by William McKee); recommended to the Zoning Board approval of a 6-foot, 136-foot privacy fence at 7586 N. Fitzhugh Street (applicant: Christine Holdraker); approved a preliminary site plan for a 70x100-foot, 16-foot-tall pole barn at 7107 Route 14 for equipment and personal storage (applicant: Bruce Carey); and tabled a rezoning discussion for split parcels at TideSides Marina because the applicant was not present. The board adjourned at 7:30 p.m. and scheduled its next meeting for Oct. 21, 2024.
Votes were recorded as unanimous for each motion listed in the meeting record: approval of minutes and edits (motion and second recorded), recommendation of fence to ZB (Fogarty moved; Evener seconded), acceptance of the Carey site plan (Fogarty moved; McKee seconded), tableing of the rezoning item (Evener moved; Fogarty seconded), and adjournment (Fogarty moved; McKee seconded). The CEO, Kevin Druschel, requested staff be provided a written list of approved items for the Carey site plan file.
