At the start of its work session the Planning Board noted that Bill McKee and Mark Costich had prepared draft guidelines for docks, structures and moorings. Members said the drafts were in good shape and requested a further review to ensure the guidance fits Sodus Point’s community needs.
McKee told the board the Planning Board "may require documentation beyond code or statute" for docks and mooring applications and that members should be prepared to ask for additional supporting material when necessary. The board did not take a formal vote on the guidelines at this meeting and asked members to return with comments at a future meeting.
