Sodus Point Planning Board approves Hillside Drive home with drainage condition

The approval is contingent on the village’s receipt of the stamped construction plans showing installation and placement of a roadside drainage culvert and the size and location of drainage piping.
Board members spent the discussion focusing on stormwater and driveway runoff. William Kedley and Mark Costich pressed for explicit drainage details to be included with the stamped plans; Chair Bruce Evener suggested an 11-inch drainage culvert as a reference. Zachary Burnette said the architectural plans were complete: "They had considered the drainage," the minutes record. William Kedley moved to approve the application subject to the stamped plans including installation and placement of a drainage culvert; William McKee seconded and the vote was unanimous (Evener, Kedley, McKee, Costich voted yes).
