The Village of Sodus Point Zoning Board granted Steve Taylor an area variance for a 22" x 10'2" addition to square the southeast corner of his property at 8269 Lake Street Ext. The proposal would place the addition 16.9 feet from the road right-of-way where 25 feet is required; Taylor told the board he had checked with the neighbor to the east and that neighbor approved the planned renovation.
Mark Ketcham moved to approve the application, Steve Nesspor seconded, and the motion passed with unanimous votes. The minutes record that Chair Tom Johns had visited the property prior to the meeting and raised no objection to the requested change.
