A representative from the police department presented the July 2026 activity report, citing 960 calls for service, 152 documented offenses, 119 incidents and 172 traffic stops for the month. The report said the department closed 45 cases in July, including 29 by arrest, and that 32 cases remained open and under investigation.
The department said it balanced enforcement with community engagement, issuing more warnings than citations and participating in three community events during July (including a co-hosted movie night and a National Night Out event scheduled for the following day). "During July 2026, he responded to 960 calls of service, documented a 152 offenses, and a 119 incidents, and conducted a 172 bridal stops," the report states.
Police urged residents to attend community events and said officers remain focused on visible service and case investigation.
