Board accepts abstract; trustees remind residents of winter parking rule and safety precautions

The Village Board accepted the abstract at the Nov. 4 meeting (motion by Mayor George Kalaj, seconded by Trustee Asher Guttman). Trustee Guttman reminded residents that there is no parking in village streets from Nov. 1 through Apr. 15 to allow for snow removal. Joel Stern, confidential assistant to the mayor, advised residents to wear reflectors when walking in the road for safety.
Mayor Kalaj also congratulated "Clovewood" on obtaining water permits and said he is hopeful for positive outcomes related to the village's water supply. The board encouraged residents to go out and vote. The meeting adjourned at 8:28 p.m.
