Town board approves IT security work, service contracts and sponsorships

The Town Board approved several administrative resolutions authorizing information-technology and service contracts as part of the Jan. 27 administrative calendar. Resolutions authorized a new proposal from Computer Integrated Services, LLC for phishing and social engineering testing and accepted a separate proposal from the firm for the 2026 semi-annual security analysis. "Resolution - Authorizing a new proposal from Computer Integrated Services, LLC. (CIS) for phishing and social engineering testing - DEPT. OF INFORMATION & TECHNOLOGY (COMPUTER INTEGRATED SERVICES, LLC.)" is recorded in the minutes.
The board also approved a proposal for maintenance of IP security cameras under New York State contract (LANROVER NETWORK SERVICES, INC., Contract No. PM20770A), a field service partnership agreement with Hach Company for the Department of Water's Nitratax system and spectrophotometer, and second amendments to opt-in agreements with BusPatrol America, LLC and local school districts for the School Bus Stop Arm Enforcement Program. Sponsorship acceptances for the Town of Hempstead 2026 calendar were recorded for multiple organizations including Hofstra University and Mount Sinai South Nassau. These approvals were presented with appearances by Meta J. Mereday and other staff and were adopted by the board on the record.
