LDISD CFO presents Schools FIRST financial integrity report to board

Anne Haehn, Lake Dallas ISD chief financial officer, presented the district's 2024 Schools FIRST packet during a public hearing, explaining the Texas Education Agency bases the rating on district demographic, budgetary and actual financial data from the 2022–23 school year and that the exercise is required under Title 19, Texas Administrative Code, Section 109.
Haehn described the Schools FIRST process so trustees would understand the underlying data and timing; she noted some School Board and superintendent expenditure data for 2023–24 are included in the TEA review package. The board held the public hearing portion of the meeting at 6:39 p.m. and resumed the regular meeting at 6:47 p.m.
