At the regular meeting held at the La Villa Multi-Purpose Center, Mr. Muñoz presented the proposed calendar and asked the board to approve it as presented. "Mr. Muñoz recommended to the board to approve the La Villa ISD 2025-2026 school calendar as presented." Trustee Yesenia Morales moved to approve and Eduardo Garcia Jr. seconded; all members present voted in favor and the motion carried.
The calendar approval was among several action items taken that evening, which also included routine finance reports and personnel decisions taken after an executive session. No public audience speakers addressed the calendar during the meeting. The district plans to publish the adopted calendar to the community and post it on the district website.
