The Lindsay ISD Board approved several policy items at its July 23 meeting. The board approved an agreement and resolution with Texas A&M AgriLife Extension relating to Cooke County 4‑H, approved 'Update 125,' and adopted a resolution prohibiting non‑enrolled student participation in UIL‑sponsored activities.
Trustees also adopted a Personal Communication Devices policy that defines "personal communication device" and requires students to store such devices in secured containers provided by the campus during the school day; the policy excludes district‑issued devices. Each of these items passed by unanimous 6-0 votes.
