The Lindsay ISD Board approved adjustments to paid student meal prices for the 2025–26 school year at its July 23 meeting. Superintendent Steve Cope presented the recommended rates: paid breakfast will be $2.25 (an increase of $0.30); paid lunch will be $3.05 for elementary students and $3.30 for high school students (each a $0.10 increase). Reduced-price meals remain set at $0.00.
Trustee Brian Manhart made the motion to approve the Child Nutrition prices; Brian Neu seconded and the motion passed unanimously, 6-0. The changes will take effect for the upcoming school year and are intended to align meal pricing with program costs.
