Trustee Matthew Buxkemper moved "that we approve the 2024-2025 budget at the fund and function level as presented." Trustee Mike Stafford seconded the motion, which passed unopposed. The board recorded no dissenting votes. The approval completes the board's formal adoption of the annual spending plan for the coming school year.
The board's action followed a public hearing required under Texas law and a line-by-line review by district financial staff. The district did not attach additional conditions to the approval; follow-up work will proceed through the superintendent's office, which was present at the meeting.
