Administrators report on Spring Fling, Regents testing and a sharp January attendance dip

Secondary Principal and Technology Director Kevin Keane reported that Student Council is planning a Spring Fling and that the school mascot will appear at home basketball games. Keane also said Regents testing went well and that secondary students are transitioning back to using lockers.
Elementary Principal Rachel Wright described a Heart Association fundraiser and explained that faculty discussed testing accommodations. She said January attendance dropped to 87% because of a high rate of illness and outlined planning for a Safety Patrol trip; the Board agreed to attempt two one-day trips this year with an overnight trip next year.
Trustees thanked administrators for the updates and encouraged continued planning for trips and accommodations.
