Students report on volunteer work; principals update board on safety and attendance

Two students addressed the board to share their volunteer experiences and future plans. Student liaison Ethan All reported recent student activities including sharing pretzels with elementary students for Halloween, the Veterans Breakfast and the Sr. Citizen Dinner.
Secondary Principal Kevin Keane said the district is nearing the end of the first quarter and noted early college acceptances for seniors. Elementary Principal Rachel Wright reviewed fire safety activities (thanking the Fassett family and PTO for pumpkins and stickers), recent field trips, completion of the second round of benchmark assessments and a 95.4% attendance rate for October.
