Rachel Wright, Elementary Principal and Curriculum Coordinator, briefed the board on multiple elementary-school items. She reported a November attendance rate of 94.4 percent, thanked staff for organizing Ruby Bridges Day on Nov. 14 and noted that the FFA's Kids Night Out event on Nov. 14 had been successful.
Wright said staff are working with BOCES on a curriculum database and that the first round of Annual Professional Performance Review (APPR) evaluations would be completed the following week; she also reported that parent‑teacher conferences were well attended despite poor weather. "The Parent Teacher Conferences were well attended despite the poor weather and finishing up the first round of APPR's next week," Wright stated in her report to the board.
