The Town of Spafford Planning Board on Jan. 16 set a public hearing for Feb. 20, 2025 on a subdivision application from the Ackles Family Revocable Trust and Becbrust, LLC.
Bruce Osborne appeared to represent the applicants and told the board the proposal would subdivide 3.42 acres from a 78.57-acre parcel on East Lake Road (RA District; Tax Map #012.-01-01.1). The board recorded two items as needed before the application proceeds to public hearing: a note on the map stating that the new parcel is not a buildable lot, and a letter from the Ackles Trust authorizing Bruce Osborne to act on its behalf. The board voted to set the public hearing on a motion that carried 4-0.
Board members present at the vote were Chairman Dennis Spina, Kate Cormack, Kevin Haines and Ross Hansen; Diane Dolcemascolo was absent. The hearing will allow neighbors and other interested parties to comment before the board takes a final decision.
