The DeWitt County Board voted unanimously on Feb. 20 to fill three unexpired local terms. Motion by Chairman Witte, second by Ferguson, appointed Josh Turney to the Barnett Special Drainage District to complete the term of Frank A. Lamar, with the seat expiring the first Tuesday of September 2027.
In separate motions, the board (motion by Witte, second by Werts) appointed Greg Andreson to the Nixon Special Drainage District to fulfill the unexpired term of Lynn A. Atteberry, and (motion by Witte, second by Prestegaard) appointed Aaron Riegler to the Zoning Board of Appeals to fill the unexpired term of Andy Hedrick, with the zoning term expiring Sept. 30, 2027. Each motion was recorded as "Motion Carried" with ayes listed for the attending members.
