Board adopts student handbooks and district safety plan for 2025–26

The board approved the Elementary Student Handbook and the Middle/High School Student Handbook for the 2025–2026 school year. The Elementary Handbook will be shared with parents at the start of the school year, and Principal Krista Ringer said staff are preparing classroom spaces even as downstairs elementary classrooms remain under construction.
The board also approved the 2025–2026 CCRS Safety Plan. Administrators reported work on crisis team response protocols and training: Principal Ringer said a crisis team will work with the full counseling team to implement a response protocol and the district has completed DASA training updates. The safety plan and handbooks were adopted by unanimous motions.
