The Chazy board appointed Danelle Young to serve as a Parent Member on the Committee on Special Education (CSE) for the 2025–2026 school year, effective Aug. 12, 2025, citing Section 4402 of New York State Education Law and Commissioner’s Regulations governing CSE participation.
The board also approved engaging Brittany O’Connell as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst for North Country Kids at a rate of $90–$95 per hour depending on travel, effective Aug. 12, 2025, and authorized Kerry Adams, Director of Special Education, to execute any necessary contracts. Separately, the board approved the district's lead water testing report; the motion to accept the report was recorded as carried unanimously.
