DeWitt County committee backs exploring Eagleview 3D imagery; staff to seek single‑flight quote

Supervisor of Assessments Sandy Schlosser told the Finance Committee the county's last aerial flight was in 2016 and that new Eagleview imagery — including 3D flights — would benefit EMA, 911 Dispatch, the Sheriff, the Supervisor of Assessments and Zoning. Schlosser and County Administrator Dee Dee Rentmeister said Sidwell no longer provides flight services and that Eagleview is the only vendor identified that can supply 3D imaging.
Committee members asked whether competing quotes had been obtained. Schlosser and Rentmeister said they had not identified other vendors that offer the same 3D capability. Dan Matthews asked staff to obtain a quote for a single flight (rather than the originally proposed two flights) and for Eagleview representative Trent Pell to be invited to the full board meeting; staff will place the item on the full board agenda.
