District presents TELPAS and campus reports; athletics and fundraising reviewed

Director of Curriculum and Special Programs Donna Pugh presented district special programs data including GT, At-Risk, BIL/ESL and CTE and reviewed the 2024 TELPAS results. Principals Laurie Jones (Levelland Middle School) and Dr. Birdwell (Levelland High School) gave campus-level updates on enrollment, common assessment results and activities. Athletic Director Lyle Leong presented athletic records and awards across multiple sports.
Superintendent Becky McCutchen reviewed approved student fundraisers and provided administrative updates including attendance figures for the first six weeks (95.65% vs. 96% last year), maintenance progress by Adam Olivas, and a Team of 8 training special meeting scheduled for Oct. 30, 2024.
