The Town of St. Armand held its third 2024 budget work session on Oct. 15, 2024. The board granted a pay increase for the records-management function and agreed to a 16% raise for the Budget/AUD officer. Members then reviewed proposed water and sewer rates for 2025: the sewer usage rate was listed as rising from $15.76 to $16.02, and the water usage rate was listed as dropping from $7.84 to $7.58. Supervisor Thurston invited questions or comments; none were offered. Deputy Supervisor Karl Law said he was "very happy" Thurston had maintained the budget in good order.
