Library Director Melissa Grygla told the board the library is experiencing problems with AMH (automated materials handling) unit use and with the vendor's email and text alert system, which she said is not functioning when the system goes down. "A request for signage was submitted to Planning the day after the last meeting and is currently pending approval from Administration," Grygla said.
Grygla also reported that a request to transition the library to a fine‑free model was submitted to Administration last month after ongoing concerns about proper use of the AMH units. The minutes do not record any board vote on fines or a timeline for a decision; these remain administrative items under review.
