Superintendent Dr. Ben King told trustees that enrollment as of Aug. 12 stood at 14,456 students. The superintendent said Day 1 enrollment compared with the 2023–24 school year was up 332 students and that a district demographer projects an additional increase of approximately 325 students by an October snapshot.
Trustees received the update as part of the superintendent's report; no board action was required. The enrollment figures were broken out in the report with elementary enrollment at 5,420 students and secondary enrollment at 9,036 students.
